Can you drive safely and use your cell phone?

At any moment of any day, 500,000 drivers of passenger vehicles are talking on handheld cell phones. Cell phones are, without a doubt, the latest, most visible, and most controversial source of driver in-attention. For a majority of motorists, seeing another driver talking on the phone is a red flag!

Several states have introduced legislation to restrict cell phone use in cars but the bills to ban cell phone use while driving have not been successful. Use of cell phones in the car can be beneficial when security is involved or if you need directions or want to report dangerous conditions or need emergency road service.
