Colorado Governor, Bill Owens, has been trying to find a way to make it possible for the 800,000 Coloradans who don't have health insurance, to have proper health care.
A state commission on health care is advising that everyone in Colorado should be required to have medical insurance along with having the state put more money into child health care and Medicaid.
It is know that these proposals could cost millions of dollars, but Commission Chairman William Lindsay III believe that such proposals signify a more realistic approach to providing high quality and affordable health care to Colorado residents.
