Bachus & Schanker is pleased to announce that it supports the March of Dimes. On April 28, 2007, Team Bachus participated in the Walk America event to raise money to help support this wonderful organization. March of Dimes is devoted to raising awareness of prematurity and birth defects through research, programs and tools to help healthcare providers and expectant mothers. This was the third year Team Bachus participated in the event. This year the Team walked for Bailey, a delightful two year old and her sister Kenzi who was stillborn on January 23, 2007. Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death in the first month of life. It affects half a million babies every year in the United States alone. Also, 1 in 33 babies in the United States are born with birth defects. Visit the March of Dimes website and donate now! Even $1.00 can help those in need.
